Nikolas Winter-Simat holds a Bachelors in Linguistics from the University of Minnesota and a Masters of Philosophy from Queensland University of Technology. He has worked in a diverse range of education and design environments including alternative schools, fashion and sustainability. He is currently the dean of students at a small Montessori high school in the US, teaches professional ethics at an Australian University and facilitates educator workshops. Nikolas draws on the fields of design, psychology, anthropology, linguistics, futures, integral studies, biology and philosophy to write on the role of education in human development, cultural evolution and the transition to nature-cultures of ongoingness.
